Lamia El Sayed 

 

Lamia graduated from faculty of fine arts in 2007 and received her masters in printing the work of Henry Matisse.

The young artist first exhibition was in Belgrade in 2014 about ancient Egypt. The theme of of her paintings was National Unity. Lamia is the first Egyptian artist to show her work in Serbia.


She also represented Egypt in a group exhibition in Turkey celebrating women’s International day. The exhibition included 8 artists from different countries and was organized by The Ambassadors of the Art Initiative to spread awareness against violence of harassment of women.

Lamia also represented Egypt in several international symposiums.

Her art was sold to many collectors in Egypt and abroad. After she won third prize in an art competition organized by the Serbian embassy in Cairo, one of her paintings was included in the permanent exhibition of the embassy.
